Renfro Valley Entertainment Center has been “Kentucky’s Country Music Capital” since 1939. Nestled in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains, just off I-75 at exit 62, music still rings from the rafters of the original Old Barn Theater with the best in country, bluegrass and gospel music all performed by singers and musicians that will amaze you with their talents. There are also headliner concerts featuring country and gospel legends, as well as today’s upcoming artists in the state-of-the-art New Barn Theater. Also within walking distance is the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame highlighting the many Kentucky artists, songwriters and others who have made major contributions to the entertainment industry.
For the more adventurous traveler, Livingston, a Kentucky Trail Town, is just down the road. Horse and bike trails, canoeing/kayaking on the Rockcastle River and cave tours are available. Renfro Valley has always been the perfect stop for our Canadian friends who love to travel to the warmth of Florida for the winter months and returning back home. You’ll want to visit at least twice a year to enjoy our down home hospitality and relaxing lifestyle. It’s hard to put into words what has made folks come to Renfro Valley for 75 years, but whatever it is, once you experience it you’ll want to come back time after time and bring someone with you so they can experience it too.
