Destination Hotels: true to our place; diverse by design
Experience the diverse collection of luxury hotels, resorts and residences that make Destination Hotels so special. Our portfolio boasts more than 40 upscale independent properties from coast to coast, as well as 20 golf courses, 20 full-service spas, six IACC-certified conference centers and 110 bars and restaurants.
Travel is an opportunity to discover and be enriched by new places, that’s why for over 40 years we at Destination Hotels have strived to provide ‘service with a story.’ Each property in our portfolio allows the unique personalities, histories, and points of view of the communities in which we are located to shine through. From the design of our buildings to the menus in our restaurants to the local ties of our people, we ensure that even if our guests never leave our property, they’ll still feel as if they are truly part of the place.
Take for example, the Quirk Hotel in Richmond, where the fabric of the local culture is woven throughout the hotel. Details such as the lobby’s segmental arches, vault ceiling and ornamental ironwork staircase have been preserved throughout the structure. As an homage to the building’s historic department store days, specially-designed, larger-than-life glass cases adorn the lobby, housing museum-like objects and collections such as vintage hats, while acting as natural spacing partitions.
To further incorporate authentic and locally-inspired offerings, we have recently launched Destination Hotels “Signature Touchpoints” at each hotel and resort. This program invites guests to experience a “bite” of local fare and discover a destination with “in the know” local recommendations. The three Signature Touchpoints — Destination Taste, Destination Discovery and Destination Suitcase — are a complimentary to every guest. For instance: partake in rustic furniture-making class in Stowe, Vermont, a watercolor painting or jewelry-making class with a local artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico, whale-watching on the Rancho Palos Verdes peninsula, or moonshine tasting in North Carolina. These touchpoints further differentiating our brand and provide customers with personal experiences.
Destination Hotels also distinguishes itself through community stewardship and a strong commitment to maintaining and preserving the natural beauty and historical significance of each of its properties and their respective communities by investing back in them. In addition, we are committed to environmental practices through our portfolio-wide Destination Earth program.
Whether you are looking to stay in the epicenter of a bustling city, escape the crows in a world-class mountain destination, or treat yourself to the ultimate spa or golf getaway, Destination Hotels will make you feel welcomed, inspired, balanced, comfortable and enriched. Join our loyalty program, Destination Delivers, to receive a 10% or more discount at each property along with key benefits that include a late checkout, upgrade along with a VIP amenity.
