Slippery Rock is not only a unique name for a college town, but it’s home to Butler County’s first brewpub, North Country Brewing. Critically acclaimed, this unusual pub serves sturdy fare straight from the farm and brews a large variety of hand-crafted beers and sodas. Another fun stop near Slippery Rock is Playthings Etc. Family Toy & Hobbies, the World’s Coolest Toy Store. Inside this stealth-shaped building, are awesome toys and playing is encouraged.
